プロジェクト概要

This project's purpose is to generate clean electricity with utilization of wind energy. The project consists of 30 Vestas Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each with 3.0 MW capacity. These WTGs are installed in the Wangyaithong and Bueng Prue sub-districts of Thepharak District, Nakhonratchasima Province in Thailand. All the WTGs of the project activity were commissioned on September 28, 2018. The electricity generated by the project is exported to the Thailand National grid. The project activity will therefore displace an equivalent amount of electricity which would have otherwise been generated by a fossil fuel dominant electricity grid. The project activity is in line with the sustainable development priorities of Thailand.
