プロジェクト概要

The project, undertaken by Recast Energy Louisville, involved converting an existing coal boiler to biomass combustion in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to the project, steam was generated using a combination of coal and natural gas boilers for three chemical companies that shared utilities and infrastructure. As part of the project, Recast Energy acquired the boiler house from one of the chemical companies that was discontinuing operations at the location. Recast Energy continued to use natural gas to generate steam for the remaining two chemical companies while converting the existing coal boiler to biomass combustion.
