プロジェクト概要
Located in the province of La Rioja in the northwest region of Argentina and with a total installed capacity of 30 MW, the Parque de los Llanos umbrella project is the first project to receive Gold Standard certification in Argentina, and the first solar photovoltaic project to receive Gold Standard certification in South America.
The photovoltaic plant is composed of Parque de los Llanos I, II and III which will help meet the country's electricity demand by generating power using zero-emissions photovoltaic technology. The first two plants are currently operational for a total of 20 MW. The third plant of 10 MW will be completed in 2022. The project’s goal is to displace fossil-fuel electricity production by injecting clean energy into the national grid while introducing a reliable and SDG-aligned alternative for private investors to promote large-scale power generation by means of renewable energy sources.
